Robert Gunther – Chairman
Mr. Gunther is the founder and Chairman of Highpoint Tower Technology. He has extensive experience in the acquisition and development of telecommunication sites and he has been looked upon as a pioneer and leader in the wireless communications industry since 1967. Mr. Gunther has a BS degree from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, and has also attended the prestigious Corporate Finance, Taxation and Banking Graduate Program at the NYU Graduate School of Business. Mr. Gunther is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Radio Club of America and a life member of AFCEA. Since 1967, Mr. Gunther has been owner and general manager of Highpoint Enterprises Inc., the flagship company in the Highpoint group.
Steve Smith – President
Mr. Smith is a 30-year telecom executive who has played integral roles in the formation and growth of several telecom companies over the last two decades. Prior to joining Highpoint Mr. Smith was the Chief Operating Officer with HybridNRG and Vice President of Operations at Grain Communications. Mr. Smith spent the preceding 10-years at Global Signal where he held several executive roles in business development, construction and operations. Mr. Smith holds a degree in Business Management from Stirling College and a Bachelor of Science in Radio Electronic and Communications from the Royal Navy in the UK. He has served on the Technical, Regulatory and State Legislative and Zoning Committees for CTIA.
Timothy H. Brown – Vice President Construction
Timothy Brown is responsible for all phases of new tower construction, lease management and negotiations. His technical experience in installation and dismantling of towers as well as his knowledge in antenna, coax, and all necessary equipment provide Highpoint with the experience to expedite construction implications while maintaining a quality of standards symbolic with Highpoint Tower’s proven dedication to detail.
Keith Drucker – National Director of Business Development
Mr. Drucker has been working in the real estate, tower and wireless industry since 1997 and has worked on the development, construction and acquisition of nearly 20,000 wireless tower facilities totaling over $2.5B in deployed capital. Mr. Drucker received a B.S. in Business Communications from Bentley University

The Honorable B.J. Penn – Assistant Secretary US Navy (Retired)
Mr. Penn is a native of Peru, IN. He received has BS from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and his MS from The George Washington University, Washington, DC.
Mr. Penn was a Naval Aviator, serving in various squadron billets, including Commanding Officer and as Air Officer onboard USS America. He was Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, Commanding Officer, NAS North Island, CA and Deputy Director, Naval Office of Technology Transfer and Security Assistance.
Derek Han – Advisor to the Chairman
Derek is Chairman of NSBO, a London-based investment bank, and brings over 25 years of experience in finance. He began his banking career in 1985 as a foreign exchange adviser to Frema Invest, an asset management company in Lugano, Switzerland. He was a founding partner of a Zurich-based private bank in 2000 which he was Chairman of until its merger with Banque SCS Alliance in Geneva in 2003, where he served on the Board.
Derek joined Blue Oak Capital as a Partner and Board member in London, becoming Chairman and CEO in 2008. He oversaw the formation of a joint venture Private equity fund in China with Lloyds Development Corporation. Derek is a member of the International Advisory Board for the China Securities Journal.
